An 80 year old man was sitting on the sofa in his house along with his 45 years old highly educated son. Suddenly a crow perched on their window.

The Father asked his Son, What is this?

The Son replied It is a crow

After a few minutes, the Father asked his Son the 2nd time, What is this?

The Son said Father, I have just now told you its a crow

After a little while, the old Father again asked his Son the 3rd time,
What is this?

At this time some ex-pression of irritation was felt in the Son tone when he said to his Father with a rebuff. its a crow, a crow ...

A little after, the Father again asked his Son t he 4th time, What is this?

This time the Son shouted at his Father, Why do you keep asking me the same question again and again, although I have told you so many times ˜IT IS A CROW. Are you not able to understand this?

A little later the Father went to his room and came back with an old tattered diary, which he had maintained since his Son was born. On opening a page, he asked his Son to read that page. When the son read it, the following words were written in the diary :-

Today my little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa, when a crow was sitting on the window. My Son asked me 23 times what it was, and I replied to him all 23 times that it was a Crow. I hugged him lovingly each time h e asked me the same question again and again for 23 times. I did not at all feel irritated I rather felt affection for my innocent child. While the little child asked him 23 times ,What is this, the Father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times and when today the Father asked his Son the same question just 4 times, the Son felt irritated and annoyed.

So...

If your parents attain old age, do not repulse them or look at them as a burden, but speak to them a gracious word, be cool, obedient, humble and kind to them. Be considerate to your parents.From today say this aloud, I want to see my parents happy forever. They have cared for me ever since I was a little child. They have always showered their selfless love on me.

They crossed all mountains and valleys without seeing the storm and heat to make me a person presentable in the society today.

Say a prayer to God, I will serve my old parents in the BEST way. I will say all good and kind words to my dear parents, no matter how they behave.

Finally clear all the theory test!!!

Coming up next week, practical test..

Had my very first CFT(combat fitness test) this week, it comprise of 4km road march(within 1hrs) in mod4 attire & follow by 2km mask run(within 15min)..

I have to go through this once every week, OMG! =P

Right after which, the next day which is today, had our 12km road march!

WALK... WALK..... WALK....

What a tedious week!

Nice to see everyone from different specialisation gather, and walk this road march together...

It's been a month since we see each other and the spirit was high when we kick off the road march, miss those days... =)

Coz right now, all of us is at different specialisation vocation.. training together with new faces, future 3rd sergeant to be.. Not like olden days whereby all the Officer Cadet train together...

That's pros & cons in everything...

The pros : Interact with Sct, know more abt how their system work and improve in cohesion.. next time we might eventually work hand in hand together to lead a platoon..

The cons : Culture Shock of how Sct train compare to Oct...

After all, they are a bunch of fun-loving people. I like my new camp rite now althot it's a bit far from my place and that's lots of mozzies!!! haha...

Can't ask for more since it's a 5days work. =)

3more weeks to go, when everyone come back from our specialisation and prepare to depart to Thailand for our LAST oversea training!

Birthday SURPRISE!

Just when i thought no one will remember it's my birthday..

My sister give me a surprise!

While i was preparing to report back to camp, she took a cake out...

My actual birthday is tmr 16/3, coz i will be in camp so my sis give me a early birthday cake...

Until now, my bruises still haven't recover!! know how Powerful the Paintball is??? haha... =P

Recently got a cousin who sign on NAVY.

Previously serve HOME TEAM.. which is not consider under SAF, so have to went through BMT once more...

6 years bond...

Think it took some courage for him to sign...

Wishing all the best & hopefully he can get used to the life in there...

Early morning, travel to "Bottle Tree Park" located near Khatib MRT-400m walking distance... (it's not at orchid country club as i mention previously... lolx...i also don't know where i get the name orchid country club... haha..)

Where the mid-course gathering is held... for Paint Ball challenge!

First time playing it..

Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!
It Hurt! =P

Think the main idea of this game is not shooting down your opponent, it's about how to minimise or avoid being shoot! lolx...

Seriously, no joke... the "bullet" is make of rubber containing paints in it. I don't think i can find anyone unharmed playing this game.. lolx... minimally at least some bruises...

i,myself got multiple bruises.. lolx... from head to toes! got a head-shot even though I'm wearing a helmet!

got a little barugu on my head now.. -.-"

how it feel like getting shot by the paintball bullet?? hmm...

freaking pain for an instant.. think every shot that hit, will leave a mark on yr body.. either bruises or red mark! hahaha... **take note! juz imagine, my friend's handphone screen crack after getting shot by the "bullet".. can u feel the impact?? =P

Personally after trying this game, i think ladies should avoid trying it...haha.. even guys playing this, suffer...bruises everywhere after the game? and ladies have a fairer skin tone.. think by the end of the day, the girl that play will become "leopard look-alike..." lolx.. black spots everywhere... =)

If really want to have a feel of this game, try "Laser Quest".. althot i never try before, it's definitely much much safer than paint ball! at least you are unharmed end of the day...

Never ate a single thing in the morning and went for the game...rushing for time almost late.. lolx.. lasted till 2pm??

Stomach didn't make any noises, maybe becoz of the pain that make me forget abt it.. =P

After which around 14 of us went to eat Sakae Sushi at Plaza Singapura...
