Bintan Lagoon Resort 16 - 19 April 2010

The tropical paradise of Bintan Lagoon Resort offers a world of choice. Ideally situated just 55 minutes by high speed ferry from Singapore, the resort overlooks the South China Sea and archipelago of the Riau islands. Sparkling azure waters, gentle swaying palm trees, sugar fine white sands and warm personalized service.

Went on a short getaway trip with a group of 10pax on the 16 - 19 April.
They are - Jeremy Chong, himself & his mum, elder sister, elder sister's baby boy - Shawn, Crystal Heng, Winston Choy, Joanne Chia, Alexis kwok, Shi jun qi & me..! =)

'BUGANVIL VILLA'

The place where i stay...!!! =)

It's double storey with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a BBQ area. There's a personal buggy tagging along every Villa, so everywhere you go, you will be driving your buggy around. Nice~!!!
No License required for driving a buggy..! =P

There's an extensive range of activities both in and out of the water at Bintan Lagoon Resort.
Fun in the sun and the sea abounds.

Basically you can't escape tanning since the sun is working so hard everyday =)
I liked the weather at Bintan, the sun always wake up daily and shines up the whole island. During Night time, the entire island is cool down by the rains and it's a good time to get some sleep on the bed! Zzzz~

first time getting my eyes on the blue sea~
went to the pool almost everyday,
getting my hands on the laser quest & golf..!
Pro right...? playing Golf... haha... went for the driving range.
First time experiencing it...

$8 for 80 balls

Try hitting the ball to 200m. Not easy okie..! Trust me, some of them actually got blister after a few tries. haha...
Where else I only managed to hit the ball once to 200m and that's my greatest achievement for that day and i sweat like hell~ =D

I enjoyed this entire trip very much.
Before boarding the ferry, we went Sheng Siong to buy some groceries, food to bring over coz the foods & drinks at Bintan is damn expensive.!

Imagine a 1.5L of coke selling at $9..!!! lol...

We took turns to prepared dinner for the first night, had a little competition among ourselves. It's was fun, everyone putting in effort to come out with a edible dish which turn out to be a nice and fruitful meal.!

But the process of preparing the dinner was long~ Almost starve to death... hahaha...
Everyone took like an hour to prepare the dish... Omg~
Start preparing at 5pm & started eating at 8pm... =P

Most importantly, we took turns to wash the plates & bowls as well.. haha...

We had BBQ on the second night, enjoying watching soccer at the same time.
Eat till you drop... lol...
After which, everyone sat down together and watch 'How to Train Your Dragon' on the Big LCD Screen provided in the living room. I can feel that everyone was just struggling to open their eyes and trying their best to finish watching the movie.. haha..

On the last night of our stay, we had Mee Hoon Kueh for dinner.
Everything is self-made, cook your own and enjoy your self-made dinner. =)

This trip should be a relaxing one, however, everyone seen to be very very tired everyday... lol...
Seem like I'm tasked to wake everyone up everyday..!!!

Regretted not taking OFF on Tuesday as well.
It was so tiring for me to wake up so early for work, almost late =P

Afterall, I enjoyed myself and don't mind visiting this island again in the future
Cya~ =)
