First Stop: Went Marina Square in the afternoon and had Carl's Junior Combo Meal.
'SuperStar Burger' Meal Upsize!! $12.90

That's the only meal i had this Entire day.

Can't imagine that~ I used to have a Big appetite, just kept feeding myself non-stop.
I bet after eating that SuperStar Burger meal, i will complain hungry after a few hrs later.

'Still remember 2006, my clicks & i visited Joo Chiat 'FeiFei Wanton Mee' Stall in the middle of the night for supper. Someone suggested to have a little competition among ourselves. Think total there were around 10 guys. Compete who can eat the most number of bowls of Wanton Mee. Silly suggestion~ but we carry on with it. lol....

There will be only 1 winner. His prize?
'Supper FOC'

So Funny, when i recalled what happened that day.
The Wanton Mee auntie must be smiling until she can't closed her mouth! =P

The table was full of bowls~ Add up think got around 30++bowls.
$$ Hundred Dollars of Wanton Mee.
Can you imagine that? =D

I was the winner back then, 5 full bowls of wanton mee~
Eat until gonna vomit. =P

There's 1 common thing that we share after that supper session.
No Wanton Mee for the next few months or even years~
Some of them never touches wanton mee from that day onward.. LOL...

Now, 1 burger & that's it... =(

2nd Stop: Orchard (Somerset 313)
Newly open shopping Mall.

From the way i see, i think Orchard area will be 1 of the most expensive shopping route in the world in times to come.
Currently Orchard area is rank top few most Expensive area to shop in the world.

Within this year, there's like 3 newly open shopping mall in orchard.

So many shops, walk until you drop.
Guess it's a good preparation for BKK trip in Jan. =)

I'm On Leave Again~ =)

Been visiting JB quite often recently with my friends, almost went there like ... once a week.
Just went in on Friday night, as Usual~ 'JAM'

Every time when we discuss & decided to go in and eat, we always remind another - 'Not to eat until so Full, as long as filling will do'
But that doesn't happened! lol... always went there with a table FuLL of Foods... Couldn't finish the food, i guess it can't be help. when you reach there and see so many nice food that u would like to eat.. That leads to a whole chain of foods on the table.. =P

-Always come back spore with bloated stomach-
suffering ah~ lol...

Saturday went east coast to blade, it was a Clear Sky, the sun was shining brightly. Can feel the sun heating me up.. My first time blading, fall quite a couple of times.. At least i manage to learn blading within 2hrs. =)



After which went to Bugis & had steamboat~
Been eating like some cave man over the weekend... lol...
Need to cut down before i become SUMO wrestler. =)

Sunday evening, attended a wedding dinner.
It's a totally different experience i had in my life.

It's not like those normal wedding dinner whereby you go there wish the wedding couple & enjoy the food at the hotel.
This time round, i play a part in the wedding couple dinner too. =)

I'm a sword bearer in the wedding event. Just like what we see in the tv, holding the sword above the wedding couple as they walk pass you.
Never would i thot i would be doing that in my life =)

Talk abt skiing, the last time i ski was... secondary sch? or pri sch? lol...

But it's nice once you know how to ski and i enjoy that.. but if you ask me to do it nw, i think i need to go for a few more rounds of practices first, learning how to balance myself. =P

It's really beautiful to see those professional ski in front of you & execute those fantastic stunning moves, Which i only manage to see it in the tv not until today!

Those move seen so dangerous to me, any tiny little mistake they make will cause them or their partner into serious injuries. My eyes stopped blinking for that few moment, felt so worried for them when they execute those move but it was really very beautiful. =)

What a day!
So many twist & turn event happened today,

Decided to went for a swim in the afternoon since the sun is being NiCe. (scorching fiercely in the morning)
While I'm walking towards the bus stop, the bus that I'm suppose to take - drive past.. Zzz..

I thot i was unlucky, miss that bus.
Who knows? It turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

Anyone ever taken a free ride from public bus, SBS?
I guess everyone more or less have it. But mine is a 'Exceptional Case'
I board the bus & waiting for my turn to tap my ez-link on the machine.

It show 'OUT OF SERVICE'

And the bus uncle said "FREE RIDE FREE RIDE just go in and take a seat.."
I was like... Err... Stun...haha... lol... Nice~ ^^
Service GooD eh!

But Good thing doesn't seem to last long..
Went to Change up and head to the pool, there it goes...

Continue with my swims & when I'm was about to leave the Mt Faber Safra compound,
standing at the exit way heading back hm.

Went for Medical Review yesterday,

After finish doing bone scan, the film is out, doc able to study it and come out with the conclusion.

The moment i enter the door,
Doc asked me to take a seat,
&
Said,
Bad Bad Bad~ you have stress fracture on yr leg.

If my leg was okie, i wouldn't make so much trouble running so many places to checked on my leg right?
OMG~

But it's really bad, the doc actually gave me 1years excuse status.
Which mean excuse all the way till i ORD.
Down Pes my status from A to C9L2.

Was really sad man... can't take part in any exercise. No more running, soccer game for me.

But i was fast enough to asked him, am i still able to carry on swimming?
Luckily, he said i can still take up sports like swimming & cycling to keep fit..

THIS IS IT!

What I Fear Most, Finally Happened...

Went for Medical Appointment on Monday Morning at NUH,

For Bone Scan...

Injured myself back then when i was training for AHM...
This sort of pain has never happened before to me,
So went to see a doc to explain abt the pain on my right shin after my training,
He suspected that it might be a stress Fracture.! ... Fracture??!!! FRACTURE!!!

That's how i reply after hearing that,
he schedule me for X-ray...

But normal X-ray can't diagnose 'Stress Fracture'.
So he schedule me for a Bone Scan at NUH.

Bone Scan is totally different from X-ray, firstly you will have to take a injection.
YES! Injection!!!

Hahaha... until now there's a hole on my arm.
The Doc inject some nuclear particles inside my arm,
Than slowly you can see those nuclear particles running through yr body on the Monitor.

Quite amazing... like tiny little ants running round yr body,
slowly slowly, it reaches my legs..

AND...

The moment it reaches my right shin, the doc straight away pointed to me,
there's a fracture on my right shin..

What i fear most, finally happened...

Haiz~

It's like taking away something important from me,
From the battalion fastest runner till nobody.. =P
Just hope it recover faster...!!! Pls....!

Despite that, i completed AHM with my leg fracture..!
OMFG~
Imagine running 21km with a fracture leg, WtF~

Lesson learnt: Train hard, play hard, but remember to carter some time to let your body rest also..
Even you are not feeling tired, your body need time to rest and recuperate. =)

Same goes to yr EYES @@
Don't stress yr eyes too long in front of computer.

Juz realise my blog hasn't been update for a month...
Woke up this morning saw today's date on my HP,

Busy with lots of project recently,

firstly - Army Half Marathon,

follow by Army Open House,

&

Now SGP F1 2009..

Hmm... Hopefully after these few projects, my life will be more relax~ =P
After that will be clearing my LEAVE!!!! 14days~ planning to go oversea for holiday...
But can't find any companion atm..

Went to Wine Connection at Robertson Walk last nite,

All types and ranges of wines from different countries can be found there..

After discussion, we decided to try the Italian Red Wine : Apollonio - Terragnolo - Salento IGT

Big bold wine, with a Strong smell & taste..

After drinking a few cup, starting to feel sleepy~
realise wines is actually a very good drink that can cure people that is suffering from insomnia,
it's will cast you to some Peaceful Sleep easily... lol.. =D

After so long, finally went for a Swim Today! Yea~

Tmr public Holiday~!
Can REST 1 more day before F1 Commence in 4days time.. =)

While most people are still laying on the bed dreaming what to have for breakfast, i had to start crawling out of my bed at 0300hrs... Yawns...

My first time taking part in such big running event, feel so different~
So many people running together, atmosphere also different.. See different walks of life running together, quite a scene.. Fun~ =P

Oh ya, before the run, i took some painkiller that the doc gave me. Hoping that it can help me tahan the pain on the injure leg.

Don't think it really help.. Argg... Some more the painkiller got side effect, will cause gastric pain..
Instead of helping me get off the pain, it cause more pain to me!!! Giving me quite a hard time to catch my breath~

After the run i was almost limping all the way back home... lol... Went to get some sleep after bathing, too tired~ haha...

The moment i woke up... holy shit~ haha... the pain was so powerful~ =P

Feeling so anxious now...


Not because I'm damn Garang about running, it's because i have a injuries on my leg!!

Went to consult Doc on wed coz it's too hurt for me to run, that's the most unlucky thing that can happen.
Train so long and hard for Tmr and i injure myself during the last training, last Friday... And he gave me, 7days excuse running, marching, jumping until 18Aug.

Arggg....

But anyway, i decided to run tmr!
So i went to see the Doc again ask him cancel off my medical status

&

So... i'm status clear now... =)
And I'm Fit to go...
Although my leg still hurt..

Haizz~ almost a week le, still haven't recover..

Pls don't let me down last min.
Let me reach my finish line..

Went to Changi Beach Park in the morning for 16km run..

Yawns~ 530am leave house..

Didn't had dinner ytd & breakfast in the morning before the run, so hungry~ almost can't take it.. not enough sleep some more...

After the run, went to eat kway chap.. suddenly crave for some nice food, after a long and tired run must pamper myself a bit... order 2 Big bowl of Kway~ Yooo...
lolx... after eating, have difficulties walking back hm.. =P

As for Dinner... hmm..

Went to Old Airport Road Food Centre...

It's been a long long time since i went there to eat.. Didn't know there's a direct bus from my house to old airport rd food centre..

So many nice good food sia, will be gg there more often to try out all the nice food over there... especially the XO crabs bee hoon, look so tempting sia... will try next time! (=

It's the first light given out by the sun after the Full Eclipse... And it give out a shape like a Diamond Ring, so they name it that way... So beautiful~

After 1year of training..

Still rmb the first day, this guy woke up early morning and took a cab down to this camp called SAFTI MI. Got no clue what's gonna happen to him and reported to OCS. The same parade square, back than he was juz a recruits that pass out from BTM. Earning this first white bar on his shoulder.. Feeling proud & excited for upcoming journey...

An 80 year old man was sitting on the sofa in his house along with his 45 years old highly educated son. Suddenly a crow perched on their window.

The Father asked his Son, What is this?

The Son replied It is a crow

After a few minutes, the Father asked his Son the 2nd time, What is this?

The Son said Father, I have just now told you its a crow

After a little while, the old Father again asked his Son the 3rd time,
What is this?

At this time some ex-pression of irritation was felt in the Son tone when he said to his Father with a rebuff. its a crow, a crow ...

A little after, the Father again asked his Son t he 4th time, What is this?

This time the Son shouted at his Father, Why do you keep asking me the same question again and again, although I have told you so many times ˜IT IS A CROW. Are you not able to understand this?

A little later the Father went to his room and came back with an old tattered diary, which he had maintained since his Son was born. On opening a page, he asked his Son to read that page. When the son read it, the following words were written in the diary :-

Today my little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa, when a crow was sitting on the window. My Son asked me 23 times what it was, and I replied to him all 23 times that it was a Crow. I hugged him lovingly each time h e asked me the same question again and again for 23 times. I did not at all feel irritated I rather felt affection for my innocent child. While the little child asked him 23 times ,What is this, the Father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times and when today the Father asked his Son the same question just 4 times, the Son felt irritated and annoyed.

So...

If your parents attain old age, do not repulse them or look at them as a burden, but speak to them a gracious word, be cool, obedient, humble and kind to them. Be considerate to your parents.From today say this aloud, I want to see my parents happy forever. They have cared for me ever since I was a little child. They have always showered their selfless love on me.

They crossed all mountains and valleys without seeing the storm and heat to make me a person presentable in the society today.

Say a prayer to God, I will serve my old parents in the BEST way. I will say all good and kind words to my dear parents, no matter how they behave.

Finally clear all the theory test!!!

Coming up next week, practical test..

Had my very first CFT(combat fitness test) this week, it comprise of 4km road march(within 1hrs) in mod4 attire & follow by 2km mask run(within 15min)..

I have to go through this once every week, OMG! =P

Right after which, the next day which is today, had our 12km road march!

WALK... WALK..... WALK....

What a tedious week!

Nice to see everyone from different specialisation gather, and walk this road march together...

It's been a month since we see each other and the spirit was high when we kick off the road march, miss those days... =)

Coz right now, all of us is at different specialisation vocation.. training together with new faces, future 3rd sergeant to be.. Not like olden days whereby all the Officer Cadet train together...

That's pros & cons in everything...

The pros : Interact with Sct, know more abt how their system work and improve in cohesion.. next time we might eventually work hand in hand together to lead a platoon..

The cons : Culture Shock of how Sct train compare to Oct...

After all, they are a bunch of fun-loving people. I like my new camp rite now althot it's a bit far from my place and that's lots of mozzies!!! haha...

Can't ask for more since it's a 5days work. =)

3more weeks to go, when everyone come back from our specialisation and prepare to depart to Thailand for our LAST oversea training!

Birthday SURPRISE!

Just when i thought no one will remember it's my birthday..

My sister give me a surprise!

While i was preparing to report back to camp, she took a cake out...

My actual birthday is tmr 16/3, coz i will be in camp so my sis give me a early birthday cake...

Think it took some courage for him to sign...
